…… and thoroughly ignored!
Come on Human Foal, you are now officially late (yes, yes we know this is nothing new in this household) and The Whale is getting impatient and grumpy and so are we! We're bored of waiting now…. it's been a long 9 months…..
We are waiting for you to arrive so that we can all play, the weather's good, the grass is green and we're ready to entertain you…. so what do you say? How about coming out to say hi? We know it's nice and toasty warm in your barn and you are happy demanding ice cream and blueberries but we got plans.
We got plans for rides and walks and teaching you all the best mischief, Dragon would also like to borrow a slimmer version of FH for a ride or two soon…. we have a feeling FH might quite like that too.
So there we go, our plea, may it fall on your mule sized ears (we can hope right?!), out you come, what are you waiting for - there's fun to be had ;-)

C'mon HF... we're all pushing for you.... those long ears need you to play with :-)
ReplyDeleteOkay, it's time to start a pool. I say May 11 because it's Mother's day here in the US.
ReplyDeleteDear Dragon, Roller and (the) Mini, We are all waiting, too! Every time I see your names in my inbox (always a delight) I hold my breath and scroll down .............. and, though I don't find myself breaking into yawns, still the celebrations remain on hold. All this waiting around must be exhausting - a cue for extra nourishment! Can only send telepathic carrots and bananas, alas, but lots of cuddles 'n' scratches for you all and a big hug for FH. Love from Susan, Cambridge
ReplyDeleteAll the best things are worth the wait....
ReplyDeleteGreat presentation on Mules in War, FH!!
Thinking about you all. With love and cuddles from Judy in Cambridge xx
Oh how wonderful ... it is near human foaling time? Get some nice straw laid out and make sure everyone is around.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you lot on this. I'm getting fed up keep checking in to meet the new foal and low and behold no arrival yet. Get pushing FH. I do hope this lateness isn't going to be a feature of your new foal for life. Human has to lie to The Stallion when they are going somewhere and tell him they are leaving an hour earlier than they need to as he is ALWAYS late for EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeleteThe Spring breeze, the blooms and the butterflies are ready, the baby birds are hatching and the little forest animals are raising their young. Time for HF to make the grand entrance!. All ear lengths across the world are impatient!. I join the calling neigbrays, purrs and woofs. Be well, FH.
ReplyDeleteOh FH and baby foal ~ we anxiously await the news :)))
ReplyDeleteUmm and Honey Bee say to you Mr Roller ~ looking quite handsome these days you are , you are !
Oh my goodness... just saw this... so two days ago, the foal was not here yet! :-) Praying for your safe delivery!
ReplyDeleteOh, the agonies of foal watch....
