Welcome Friends - Old and New!

Dearest Muleteers!  We have some new followers, commenters and browsers and wanted to welcome you all along!  We would also like to send our ongoing sunffles, neighbrays and hugs to our longer term Muleteer friends whose comments, interest and care means a lot to us :-)  We are so very pleased to have such lovely people stop by our blog.  We love comments  and to share our fun and frolics with our friends around the world.  Our friends mean a lot to us and are part of our Muleteer Family so please come back when you need some relaxation or a smile, say hi if you feel brave enough or just feel free to browse, we hope you like what you find here.  There are no rules here at Muleteer HQ except for no negativity, lots of fun and friendship, lots of laughs and an appreciation of some very fine ears!

So for our new arrivals here's a quick introduction to ourselves along with some facts that even our long term fans might not know!

The Mini

I always have to be first!  I am the founding member of the Muleteers and in FH's words I am a lap mule.  I am more like a faithful dog most days and am happiest when sitting in FH's lap having a cuddle and scratch.  My favourite thing to eat is banana peel and I am partial to a hedge picnic.  My secret love is Catanian, I don't do cats.... but I am partial to this one.  My kitty sleeps in the stable with us minis and secretly I'm very fond of her!  I am a little bit scared of life after a difficult beginning but am getting so much braver every day.  I do not like brushing unless it's with a my furminator brush, I do not like having my feet trimmed and I am petrified of the mule doctor.  I am a bit of a contradiction though, I would walk through hot coals if FH asked me to and we are a team.  She says that although I am the most complicated and least brave of the muleteers in many ways I am the one she knows will do whatever I am asked if she asks me nicely, I aim to please :-)

I am rather short but this has never stopped me....I am extremely adept at commando crawling under fences, I sink to my knees and drag my belly through, why go over when you can go under?

I was quite famous when I was born and some photographer took some pictures of me here - Baby Mini and they have been used for all kinds of articles.  I am quite cute aren't I?

Roller

Hey friends I am the thinker of the gang and do not waste energy on excitement, I am skilled at keeping the mules calm and babysit each one when the other goes out.  When I go out on picnic walks with humans they make rather a lot of noise.  I am the stability of the herd!  I am a miniature shetland pony, FH says she never thought she'd own a shetland until she got me, good job she changed her mind :-)  My favourite thing is sleeping, the humans are in awe of my ability to snooze.  When I've had a busy day of munching grass, grooming my friends and sunbathing I will go to my lovely deep bed at night and lie down almost immediately, I get up for the occasional snack but rather than sleep standing up like most equines I will always choose to lie all curled up, it's not far for me to drop down for a proper snooze so no need for half measures!

Once upon a time I was destined for life as a 'stud' pony with lots of ladies but it didn't work out.  I'm a sensitive soul and wasn't really interested in being all stalliony, I was more interested in a little chat and a bite to eat.... heyho it meant that my 'career' was abandoned and I came here, sounds like a great trade off to me!

Dragon

Greetings friends!  I am Dragon aka Callie.  My humans call me Dragon as they reckon I am like the Dragon in Shrek, I am docile and lovey dovey most of the time but can be fiery when challenged!  My favourite things are working, eating and being nosey.  I am the mule with much energy and am happiest when doing something.  I take FH for a ride.... I also am teaching her Horse Human Agility and like to keep her on her toes, I've taught her everything she knows ;-) Well kind of....  I am fairly bombproof to ride and am happy with tractors, trains, lorries and flappy things in the hedge. I have two major dislikes though, I do not like whizzy bicycles that fly past me and I do not like rude dogs.  I am adept at using my dog defenders (aka front hooves) if required and most of our neighbours now put their dogs on leads quick when they see my fine ears coming.

I have rather a sweet tooth and can smell a can of coke or red bull a mile off, FH doesn't think I need more energy.  A secret fact is that my favourite place to be scratched is just above my eyes, it makes me get very sleepy and I love it!

Catanian

No stableyard is complete with a mouse catcher!  Here I am!  I am Catanian aka Diesel.  I came here to live nearly two years ago and think I found cat heaven.  I live with The Muleteers and have adapted well to life as a mule.  I have learnt to sleep with them, roll in the mud with them, play with them, watch them and keep their yard free from mice.  I am particularly in love with The Mini, he likes to pretend he doesn't love me but when no one's looking we play and sleep together :-)  I do not roam far from home and stay well away from any traffic.  I can normally be found wherever the Muleteers are and love sunny days in the paddock.  I can't fathom the culinary choices of the mules but each to their own.

FH reckons I am the most spoilt stable cat ever, I only like the finest cat food, have all the best health care, freedom to do as I please, the canines are excluded from my domain and despite FH buying several deluxe cat beds I refuse them in favour of the finest place to sleep - right next to my mini friends.  My mini friends protect me from straying cats and foxes who might be mean to me, if I stick close to them I am safe :-)

The Hangers On...

Murph

Woof Muleteers!  I am Murph aka the Pocket Sized Labrador aka Cloth Dog.  I am the original member of the animal gang and have owned FH the longest.  I am happy to share as long as I get quality time of my own.  I found FH when life was bad, I was a very sad, abused puppy with quite a few 'issues' as you humans like to call them.  I was scared and sick and had no idea what wagging was.  Well here I am seven years later and life is brilliant.  I have recently been entrusted with a puppy to bring up, being a puppy parent is hard work.... I am very fond of Milo Pups though, he has brought me doggy fun again after I lost my best friend The Big Dog.  I love food, swimming and balls and have been known to get up to Mischief on a grand scale.

One of my finest Mischief moments was giving a dogsitter the fright of his life when I prompted a Lifeboat rescue after swimming nearly a mile out to sea... I was looking for FH and having a lovely swim, I reckon the humans were over reacting!  MH reckons most of my finest moments involve food.... yum!  The messiest one was when I helped myself to a full bag of flour and burst it all over myself, I was a white labrador that day, I tried to clean up but somehow licking the flour made it turn in to glue... whoever would have thought such a thing, oops I was a sticky white labrador that needed a bath after that one.... ;-)

Milo

Aruff!  Hey Fans!  I'm Milo Pups the New Kid on the Block!  I am a lurcher with speed in my genes.  I can run faster than anyone else in the family.  I have only been here a short while but reckon I'm in charge.  Cloth Dog says I'm a young upstart who needs to learn respect? Whatever!!  I'm actually very grown up and attend work every day with FH, I am good at office work, particularly reception duties where it is my responsibility to meet and greet everyone.  FH reckons I am sometimes a bit too enthusiastic, I particularly enjoyed greeting the big boss the other day with loads of licks, leaps and wags; he was lucky!

I am following in the Cloth Dog's footsteps of getting up to Mischief.  Just the other day I had been abandoned for what seemed like ages and got a bit peckish.  I could see food high, high up on the shelf so I offered to make Cloth Dog and I a six egg omelet, no need for cooking just drag the eggs down, smash the shells and stir with paws before licking up... nearly finished by the time the humans appeared.  They cleared up the mess and left again... so I went for the second course option, a litre bottle of olive oil, sprinkle liberally on the floor, paddle in to moisturise my paws and then slurp up.... mmmm tasty!  So you see I think I could be a chef in my future, next up I'm going to try making curry!

So there you have it Muleteer Friends that's our fine little family, say hi, tell us something fun about yourself or maybe just smile at our antics.  You are all welcome and we hope to see you again very soon to spend a little time smiling with us.

Snuffles, neighbrays, eau de pony, woofs, wags, miaows and hugs xxxxxx

A Puptastic Week!

Greeting Wooferteers!  My name is Milo and I am the New Kid on The Block... this is what my new big brother has called me so I think it sounds cool.  I have had the most exciting week ever.  Just a week ago I was busy chasing my Mum around trying to get her to play tag with me when these two humans arrived for a visit.  I was quite taken with them, they seemed to appreciate my handsomeness and were wowed by my puptastic paws (who wouldn't be?), I investigated them thoroughly, I checked for treats in pockets and made sure that they appreciated the wonder of a face lick.  Yep they seemed alright!

I was busy having a little doze when I heard that they were taking me away.... I had mixed feelings about this..... I love my Mum and all my aunts, granny and uncles but I am ready for an adventure.  I heard the words labrador, ball, mule, work and Dartmoor.... I had no idea what any of that meant but it sounded puptastic to me!

My Ma, isn't she gorgeous

Bye Ma!

The time was ready for me to wave goodbye to my Mum, bye bye, I promise I'll be back to see you soon, will you recognise me when I've got long, floppy teenage hair and I've filled out Ma?  I'm sure you will,  bye bye my humans too!  I will miss you and promise to visit for plenty of face washes and to  tell you all about my puptastic adventures!

My first week has been filled with adventures ....

First there was my new big brother the Pocket Sized Labrador (aka Murph or Bigbro), I don't think he looks pocket sized? He's massive!  He is big and woolly and makes an exceptionally good pillow to lie on, his ears also fantastic chew toys, I don't know why he grumbles at me after a while of chewing??  I LOVE him!  He is awesome and lets me play with all his toys... all at once... I want that one... or that one... or whichever one you're chewing...

Bigbro Murph is my hero!
Wherever my Bigbro goes I tend to follow.  There is also my new humans, they're quite nice really :-)

There is MH who is my master, he tells me how to behave and is brilliant for playing games with and cuddles (don't tell anyone he likes to pretend he is the disciplinarian, hehehehe).

The 'Discplinarian'

Then there is FH who is the soft one.  Quite literally!  She is very good to lie on, if she takes liberties sitting in my bed then I shall insist that she pays the Milo price ;-)

FH makes a good pillow
She is also very excited by face washing, she really does need to clean her face better Muskehounds, I found all kinds of tasty morsels stuck to her fur.
Face washing lurcher style!
FH carries around the great stuff called tea.  I don't know why she won't share?  I got my long nose well in to the cup today, yummy!  Please FH can I have some more, it soaks in to my whiskers and then I can lick it off later...lovely!   I have to say that there is one disappointing thing with my new FH, hmmm her errrmmm fashion sense is a little off.  Come on I'm not sure about those socks and stripes?! I think I may have to make those socks disappear... they look like a nice chew toy ;-)

Mmmm tea for puppy me!
During the week I have been perfecting my posing, this is something that I need to work hard at if I'm to be a famous pup on this blog thingy, the PSL tells me that we have to be on bestest behaviour as we are only borrowing from those long eared creatures....
Aren't I a handsome lurcher puppy?!
Speaking of which... I met one over the fence! Yikes this one is big!  She was checking out my puptastic handsomeness and was making strange squawky noises, apparently her name is Dragon, that sounds scary!  I had a little sniff and then showed her my moves. She seems less than overwhelmed? Better try harder next time... FH says I will not be on paw shaking terms with these guys, something about their dog defenders??

There's been lots of time for games galore!  Bigbro has given me some toys and I have been playing fetch the ball a lot. It's hard work when your legs are as short as mine.

Fetch!
I've also been teaching my humans some puppy moves, we've been learning loads of stuff.  My humans seem impressed that I can already sit, lie down and stay, duh?! Of course I can I am super pup! They are easily pleased, this is a good sign!  My next challenge is to learn 'paw', I've been watching my bigbro and he has this mastered, I am not too good at getting my legs coordinated, it won't take me long though ;-)
Teaching the humans....
Later in the week the 'work' word was mentioned.  What chasing bunnies for dinner?  No surely not?  I'm too young!  Oh... it would seem that I was off to work with FH.  She works at the place with lots of long ears and nearly as many canines.  Wow!  This is the best place ever.  I have found my newest friend Flint who looks a lot like my uncles.  He is so nice I have pinched all of his toys and tried out his bed when he wasn't looking but he still loves me.  While FH is 'working' it is my job to look cute, guard the office (this involves sleeping lots and having growly dreams) and greet my huge new fan club.  Can you believe it? Everyone loves me and wants to visit!

Working lurcher!
Test driving Flint's bed...
It hasn't been all fun and games though Muskehounds.  I have been busy assisting with the housework!  Today I helped MH bring in the logs for the fire, this is essential as I need the fire to keep me nice and warm while snoozing.  I particularly like it when MH brings in fresh logs as it means I can pick out a new one to chew, hmmm apparently I can chew sticks outside but not inside... these humans are so picky!

Well Muskehounds I've had a very lovely first week in this new place called Muleteer HQ.  The humans reckon I fit right in, apparently I shall be living a life less ordinary - sounds brilliant!  I shall survey my kingdom as it seems I might just stay.

Time to dream of adventures to come!  Sending you woofs and wags, especially to my Ma and my pup humans, I love it here, thanks for waiting for the right home to come along for me :-)

Introducing... The Pocket Sized Labrador!

Woofs and Wags Muskehounds!  The mules have taken pity on me as I am house and lead bound after my little accident.... oops.... I am now 3.8 legged and well on the way to recovery.  I have been so bored that those long ears have allowed me to steal a blogging spot!  Maybe this blog should be called Dogtanian and The Three Muskehounds like the original inspiration?  So as I'm the longest standing member of the clan I guess I should introduce myself, I hope you'll forgive the fact that I am not an equine.....

Name: Murph, also known as the Pocket Sized Labrador

Age:  7 1/2 years going on 6 months.....

Breeding: Labrador Retriever of the gun dog type

Size:  Pocket Sized!  I wasn't fed very well as a puppy before I found my mistress so I didn't grow, I am a very petite labrador which means I can comfortably sit on your lap or the sofa, you'll never notice me, honest.

Coat Colour: Black with a few salt and pepper marks to show how distinguished I am, if you'd lived with FH most of your life you'd be grey too... just ask MH, hehe!

How did you come to be a Muleteer Muskehound?  In a galaxy far away (I try not to remember) I was an unwanted labradorian.  My old humans got me as a puppy and kept me locked in a room all day long on my own and then beat me when they came home because I had been bad (I was teething and had to chew something!).  I never walked anywhere and didn't know what the world was except for shouting and the four walls I lived in.  One day when I'd nearly given up a kind man came and carried me away, he looked after me while he set about finding me a new home, would you believe he knew FH!  A very unsuspecting FH got more than she bargained for in her first dog - me!  We had to learn lots together, I had no idea how to travel in a car, how to walk on a lead, how to socialise with humans or dogs, how to wag my tail... you know I don't think I knew how to live.  With time I found my wag and found out life was brilliant, I stopped dipping my head away from hands and started forcing my head in to hands :-)  After a while FH even found me my old friend Indy and MH, it was nice to have some boys around!  I still don't trust many people but those I do trust I love fiercely, although I don't mind sharing the humans with The Muleteers they are not allowed in the house - woof!

Favourite Pastimes: Chasing my ball, giving the 'hungry eyes' to my Granny and sneaking on the sofa with FH when no one's looking ;-)

Favourite Food: Everything! I will eat anything except for polo mints, they are the work of the devil.  I have been known to eat garlic, whole chillies, a whole bag of flour (I turned myself white, the mixture of drool and flour was very sticky...MH was not impressed), the majority of a sack of dog food, FH's coat pockets when she leaves treats in them and anything else that's left in sight.....  I have gotten in to a little bit of trouble with my eating habits in the past, my finest moment (not) was the consumption of enough grapes to kill a St Bernard (I picked them delicately off the vine), two avocados and a kiwi fruit in one sitting, the vets were staggered, I however, was fine :-)

Favourite Drink: River water ingested whilst swimming for my ball.

Favourite Car: I DO NOT like cars.... when I first arrived with FH many doggy years ago I was very traumatised about life.  One of the worst things for me was going in the car.  I was sick every time, FH had to do months and months of training with me, we ate our dinner in the car, we played in the car, we went to the park in the car, all to no avail...FH needed to take out shares in car upholstery shampoo.  The secret to my tolerance of cars now?  CHEESE!  That's right folks FH used to drive down the road chucking cheese to me in the back of the car to take my mind off feeling sick and trick me in to thinking cars were nice.  Guess it worked ok, I will tolerate cars now and we don't need the upholstery shampoo anymore but my favourite car is one that is not moving!

Favourite Movie: Lassie Come Home - Classic!

Favourite Music: Anything that MH plays, his music taste is more sedate than FH's, hers is too loud, it's no wonder I need flappy ears is it?
GH...supplier of banned substances!
Favourite Book: What's a book? Can I eat it?

Favourite Words:  W.A.L.K.  the humans think I don't know what this means, gosh they're really stupid if they can't spell!

Favourite Person: Granny Human for supplying banned food substances like sausage rolls, bits of her meals and providing ample cuddles and sympathy, Granny also allows me on the sofa, throws my ball and calls me her darling a lot :-)  I do love my FH and MH too but nothing beats the naughtiness of a Granny!

Unique Talent: Wagging so hard that I regularly knock things over including myself.  I can also 'speak' on command and sing.  The humans taught me this to stop me from barking at things... I have simply widened my vocal repertoire :-)

Guilty Pleasure: Lying on the sofa in MH's place when he's not around and placing my head in FH's lap for cuddles and attention.  In our house we all pretend this doesn't happen, dogs don't go on the furniture.... ermmm no one told me.

Least Favourite Thing: The V.E.T. or the car... I'm also a little uncertain about new people I don't know.

Favourite Vice: FOOD!  I'm an eating machine, well I am a labrador?

Favourite Clothing: My Argentinian Polo dog collar, I show that Dragon mule who has the nicest bridle leather in this house.  Apart from that I need no clothes I am invincible!

Favourite Possession: Doris Donkey my favourite toy.  Doris needs to be paraded and presented to the humans when they return from work, she is my very favourite toy at the moment, I show her this by carrying her around and drooling on her.

Alternative Career:  Chief Crunchy Biscuit Tester

Describe Yourself in Three Words: Loyal, Starving, Obsessive

Favourite Quote:
This would make the world a better place :-)

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human.  The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
Edward Hoagland

Your Perfect Day:
Wake up slowly, no need to tax yourself too much...

Eat breakfast and then become turbo charged

Hopefully it will be a Granny Day, I know Granny's car when she arrives and cry and woof until she hurries up and brings me chews and strokes!

Time for walk number one, this must include ample time with my ball,

I would like to swim after it..

And then I can soak the humans and hear them laugh!

Then it's time for a little rest and some crunchy biscuits

Next W.A.L.K number two, this should involve some Moorland exploration with the humans

Time for a snooze now...

Finally after some dinner it's time for evening funny five minutes with Doris Donkey

Night night must be time for sleep now, I am an eating and sleeping machine :-)

Wags and woofs to you all, thank you for letting me get my paws on a blog post :-)

Getting to Know.....Diesel

Greetings Miaowleteers!  It has been drawn to my attention that this fearless feline has been rather quiet on the blogging front.  It has been so difficult prising the keyboard from those naughty equines that I have had to sneak it from under their noses whilst they are busy stuffing their faces.  So welcome to my feline kingdom of fun.  May I introduce myself.....

Name: Diesel (aka Catanian)  I was named Diesel by the lovely lady who rescued me, I was found stuck in a car engine compartment at the age of about 5 weeks.  I was without my Mum and this kind lady took me home, she thought the rather distinguished black spot on my nose was Diesel or grease.... hence my name!  She then found me a home with this very dysfunctional gang, somehow she thought I'd fit right in?
Age: about 1 year
Breeding: Lion..... ok maybe a marvellous moggy of some description!
Size:  Petite and gorgeous!
Coat Color: Black and White with particularly beautiful markings on my nose and chin!
Favourite Pastimes: Climbing on the humans at any opportunity ;-)  I am very good at launching myself from any vantage point straight on to FHs shoulders.  I then pretend that I am hunting FHs hair and try to eat it while she screeches and laughs.  I also like walking with the pack, there is no reason that a cat cannot take its human for a walk is there?

Favourite Person: FH as she calls me for my feline treats everyday, although it is a little embarrassing being called with the words Deesy Weesy......
Favourite Food: No cheap kitty cat food here please, it must be premium poultry cat food.  I am also a very accomplished hunter of mice and delight in bringing them home for FH to marvel at. She seems particularly pleased with me when they are still alive and she has to dispatch them for me ;-)
Favourite Drink: Puddle water.  I am not impressed by fresh clean water in my own bowl, I would rather have the 'puddle' water FH makes sure is left for me at all times.
Favourite Car: A Jaguar - need I say more!
Favourite Movie: Puss in Boots, I do an exceptionally good cute kitty impression, normally before leaping on to FHs shoulder.
Favourite Music: The Miaowsical 'Cats'
Favourite Book: Garfield - the cartoon cat.
Favourite Words:  Deesy Weesy because it means dinner is on its way.....  hmmm I would prefer it if I was referred to as Queen Diesel though.
Unique Talent: Mouse Catcher Extraordinaire!  I am also particularly talented at sitting on FHs shoulder like a pirate's parrot!
Guilty Pleasure: Rolling around in the muddiest patch I can find and then leaping at FH in her nice clean clothes, who said cats had to be clean?
Least Favourite Thing: Those naughty canines!  I do not like those woofy dogs, although I do enjoy taunting them from the other side of the fence where they can't get me.  This is such a fun game!
Favourite Vice: Snuggling up on Dragon's beautiful cow mule saddle, the seat is so lovely and soft, it makes the perfect place for a snooze although I must remember not to sharpen my claws on it, I can't imagine why?
Favourite Clothing: Pah.... clothing is for wimps and owned animals, I need no collars or leads, this kitty is a free agent!
Favourite Possession: My gang, I enjoy owning all these humans and equines, they really are nice subjects for Queen Diesel!
Alternative Career: Acrobat!  I am very agile and like to climb anything in sight. Tightrope walking could be my next challenge.
Describe Yourself in Three Words: Energetic, Motivated and Ferocious
Favourite Quote:
"Dogs have owners, cats have staff"

Your Perfect Day:

I'd like to start the day all curled up sound asleep in the bed that is rightfully mine not the mules'! A kitty needs her beauty sleep after a busy night of catching mice - yum!

Then a good game of chase the baler twine with the humans!  A great way to wake up and definitely my favourite toy.

Then it will be time for a walk with the gang, Dragon or Ro-Land are my favourite walking companions, The Mini is terribly rude and tries to stomp on me.

Then time for a favourite pastime of playing 'Taunt The Mule' - hahaha you can't catch me!

Then finally time for my extra special treat of playing climb the human!!  I can tell she is enjoying this sooo much ;-)

Well Miaowleteers it has been so nice chatting to you but I'm afraid it's time for this kitty cat to go on the prowl.... mice time to leave the area!

Getting to Know... Roller Polar

Greetings muleteers!  Wow we are sooo happy we have had over 1000 page views!  Thanks for stopping by and catching up with us, we love telling you all what we're up to :-)  So here we are with the next instalment of 'Getting to Know You'.  Oh My Mule I have got to tell you this was hard, Roller Polar thinks A LOT!  So here it is....

Here I am looking at my Polar Bear best!
Name: Ro-Land (aka Roller Polar, The Philosopher or my posh name is Keensacre Roland!)
Age: 4
Breeding: Miniature Shetland
Size:  8 hands - huge!
Coat Color: Dilute Bay, human says I'm dun but change from silver to golden brown depending on the seasons, I think my coat colour should be called 'Special'!

Favourite Pastimes: Staring at the wall thinking! Investigating shoes.... I have a real shoe fetish and particularly like licking them, welly boots with tags on the side are my favourite! I also like small people coming to groom me :-)
Favourite Person: Errrrmmmmm I love everyone! I am particularly fond of man human as he brings me banana peel and I also like a small person called Inaya who came to see me once, I hope she'll come back soon?
In my summer colours
Favourite Food: Grass!  I don't get those silly mules who waste their time eating wood.... weirdoes!  I am also very partial to parsnips, partly because The Mini doesn't like them so I can nick his.
Favourite Drink: Tea (I am a quintissentially British pony you know), I love it when female human forgets her cup of tea on the floor when she's cleaning the Pony Pad, I am quite fond of slurping tea from it, of course I leave her lots of Roller Polar dribble to tell her how much I love her :-)
Favourite Car: A soft top Jag, my hair would blow seductively in the breeze.
Favourite Movie: Pretty Woman and other romcoms.  I also loved Black Beauty, short ears rule!
Favourite Music: A nice bit of relaxing music by Moby and I also love Fleetwood Mac!
Favourite Book: Charles Darwin's Origin of Species - deep thinking man!  And a bit of Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle...

To boldy go where no pony has gone before..
Favorite Words:  'Leave him alone'  generally shouted by the humans to tell that naughty Dragon not to chase me!  I know I'm top dog really I just can't be bothered to tell everyone else so I let them fight my battles for me, she seems to ignore them though.....
Unique Talent: Looking Good!
Guilty Pleasure: Squeezing my head under the electric fencing and knowing that I can reach the most grass, hehe there are some advantages to being small!
Least Favourite Thing: When the mule doctor visits and sticks a needle in me, I have been known to stand on my back legs and pretend to be a circus pony.
Favourite Vice: Going where I shouldn't be.... my small stature means I can squeeze in just about anywhere!
Favourite Colour: Gold as befits my beautiful colour!
Favourite Clothing: I don't need any like the mules, I have everything I need right here in my own coat, I rarely even need a headcollar as I never get tied up and I will follow where you want me to go.
Favourite Possession: My old welly that was given to me so that I'd never be without shoes again :-)
Alternative Career: Philosopher, I would like to be an Oxford Don - Aim High!
Describe Yourself in Three Words: Thoughtful, Gentle and Contented
Favourite Quote: I need a few as I am the philosopher so here goes!
Small children are convinced that ponies deserve to see the inside of the house.
~Maya Patel - I love the sound of this!!
There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.  ~Winston Churchill - especially when they look as good as me!
He knows when you're happy
He knows when you're comfortable
He knows when you're confident
And he always knows when you have carrots.
~Author Unknown - more carrots please, I can sniff them a mile away!

Your Perfect Day: A gentle snooze in the sun, I'd like female human to take Dragon out for the day so that I can graze peacefully and only have one long ear to contend with!
Just one long ear is enough some days...
A nice spot of sunbathing followed by a little potter up the lane to munch on the verges and meet my public!  I am soooo popular that people come out of their houses to see me, it won't be long until I'm invited in to tea :-)
I would then like a long groom whilst munching carrots followed by a light breeze to blow my fringe around and demonstrate how beautiful I am, I'd then like to eat some more!
Finally a snuggle in to my nice deep straw bed and a long dream about the problems of the world such as the weather, grass shortages and the state of the world hayconomy.
