The Standing Start
Always ensure that you are ready to get a good start, no hanging around, marks, set ----- GO!
Smile for the Camera
Always ensure that when the camera is pointing in your direction that you smile and whizz past at 100 miles per hour, blink and we'll miss you. If you had fine locks like Roller you could toss these around to assist with the image!
Lean in to the corners
Don't underestimate the power of the lurcher lean....go for the inside line, this could shave seconds off your time!
Constant Speed
Use the least effort to get to your destination fastest. Dragon is the queen of this, don't drag your heels but keep your pace constant, our drama queen does not dilly dally and goes the same speed in the last mile as in the first.
Snack on the way
The Mini would like to remind you that there is no harm in snacking on the hoof. A little pick me up may be just the ticket at mile number 16!
Enjoy Yourself
Run like the Pocket Sized Labrador - with a smile and joy! Feels good hey?
A Cold Splash
When in need of refreshment Dragon can recommend a good splash in some ice cold water!
A Good Roll
When you're finished and need to relax, may we advise a good roll in the mud? FH says this is not allowed for humans, well what's stopping you?!
A Good Snooze
Finally when the times are in, the legs are tired and FH has worn her hands out clapping it must be time for a good snooze.....
When you run the marathon, you run against the distance, not against the other runners and not against the time.
