Masters of Distraction....

We Muleteers are carrying out the important job of distraction at the moment.... the humans are awaiting our new Human Foal and, well, it is a long wait!  So we have been doing what we do best, providing cuteness, entertainment, laughs and plenty of distraction in all the ways we know how.....

We're always happy to lend a listening ear... some rather larger than others!

Every opportunity for itchy scratchy, of course we didn't enjoy this at all!

Lots of grooming time for the Roller Polar who is looking a little moth eaten!

Sun kissed cuteness, who can resist these big brown eyes and mulificent ears?

Doggy dynamos!

And a guardian Angel that won't leave his mistress' side.... he definitely knows something's up! No wonder he's going grey having FH to look after.

Some of us are taking the distraction tactics less seriously than others and are rather resting on the job...

But then raised their game from the sublime to the ridiculous.... she did get down safely after climbing on the roof again!

And when all this waiting gets too tiring Dragon is always happy to lend her back as a leaning post!

We think FH might be dreaming of being able to ride again soon.....

Whenever distraction is required we'll certainly be available!  Wishing you all a happy week ahead :-)

    1. It's great isn't it? Must give the credit for that one to MH - ably assisted by his willing doggy models of course!

  2. Always loving, always funny and beautiful, mis queridos amigos. You all look wonderful under the kissing sunrays. Be it ears, eyes or whiskers, each has an important task to fill. Love to see that sweet Milo is up and flying again :-) The little birds will have a luscious filling for their nests!.

Sending you warm cuddles and hugs.

    1. We are always pleased to help and Milo is certainly flying again, his leg is healed and he is delighting in keeping everyone entertained. Roller is amply filling the local birds nest, a duty he takes very seriously at this time of year :-)

Sending you neighbrays, snuffles, headbutts, woofs and wags xxx

    1. Thank you! Milo is definitely much happier without his cone, he can run at top speed again, I'd almost forgotten how fast he is! Just a little glimpse of how lucky we are with our furry family :-)

    1. Definitely the best kind of company for the wait, I miss the donkeys at work but I am so blessed to have my own furry friends at home, life would be less without them that's for sure!

  7. So pleased I have found your lovely blog. We sometimes get "accidental" mules in the New Forest when the NF stallions don`t get there quickly enough! I always hope that they find lovely homes as I know that mules are becoming ever more popular. You three have obviously found a wonderful home with your humans!

    1. Lovely to hear from you and welcome along :-) Some of the NF mules are very handsome and not unlike our lady Dragon, always hope that they land on their hooves like we have! Hope to welcome you back again!

  9. The waiting must be terribly hard, good thing you have such lovely distractions. I know you must be excited and nervous, I know I would be.:)

It's great to see Milo running about freely again. Do tell him to try to be careful. I know it is not his nature, but you certainly don't need any more injured pups to deal with at the moment.

    1. The waiting would be unbearable without the gang, they really are the best distractions! Excited and nervous in equal measures and desperate to just get on with things, I'm naturally a doer so waiting around is torture, alas there are always jobs to be done though so trying to make the most of the time.

Milo is destined to be 'one of those' dogs always crashing in to things, I've told him in no uncertain terms that he needs to be careful as an injured pup is not what we need at the moment, he just wagged and carried on careering around like a dog possessed….. hmmmm! Have a great weekend :-)
