Roller's Philosophical Friday: Gossip

Greetings my dearest Muleteers!  May it never be said that we don't gossip.... occasionally we like to discuss the latest celebrity ponies in the Pony Times or who in the neighbourhood needs to lose a few pounds... but I keep trying to remind everyone that gossip is not always good.  I spend much of my day pondering life and find the odd gossip requirement of many human beings rather odd.  Why are they always soooo interested in what everyone else is doing?  At least be interested in something good like the weather or food or talk about the meaning of life?  If they spent more time thinking about themselves and how they live their lives we all might be better off I reckon.

I have found a little saying that I rather like, although we might not stop gossiping entirely we will try to remember this one!

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

Here's to big ideas and plenty of pony snoozing at the weekend, sending you snuffles to brighten your day!

  3. But if folk weren't interested in what others were doing, blogging would be a boring old hobby?! ;-)
