Roller's Philosophical Friday: Patience

Our Human Foal is definitely on mule time!  If there's one thing living with those long ears should have taught us all it's the value of patience.... things will happen in their own sweet time and trying to rush will only make the wait harder.

I have been dreaming of my new rider to be this week and taking heart from the wisdom of others, here are some of my favourite quotes for this most waiting of Fridays!

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have patience.  Everything is difficult before it is easy.
Saadi

Patience is not the ability to wait but how you act while you're waiting.
Joyce Meyer

Sometimes the fastest way isn't always the best. Sometimes the best things in life take a little while.
Emily Beth

Patience can be bitter but her fruit is always sweet.
Habeeb Akande

You can chase a butterfly all over the field and never catch it.  But if you sit quietly in the grass it will come and sit on your shoulder.

  4. This is such a beautiful post on patience!!! I love all the quotations, and the photos are gorgeous. Animals can teach us so much about patience...they are never hurried, yet they manage to get what they need to get done just fine!
