Roller's Philosophical Friday: Style

I like to think that I am a stylish kind of pony.... I have been busy ensuring that I am wearing this season's number one style.

Yes ladies!  The Roller Polar fluff is appearing for all to see :-)

It is my very own style statement and seems to be very popular, especially when it is paired with a liberal coating of mud!

FH says I have been rather muddy this week and she has only seen me in the dark so she is missing any recent pictures of my entire fluff..... so as a reminder to my lady fans I thought I would leave you with some pictures of the main winter event.... perhaps an aperitif to the full on Roller Polar experience.  So here I am in my winter finery of last year.  Up to date pictures to follow :-)

    Such a fluff ball! The Roller fashion seems to have made it over the pond as Shy and her minions are also sporting the fluff. And you do look ever so handsome in your fluff :)

    My dear Roller, you are a most stylish gentleman. What a great aperitif you have served us in anticipation of the "main dish" --can't wait!. Your polar coat makes more than one lady swoon. Your winter ponificious fashion is splendorous and, as you so cleverly quoted, your style never fades through the year --always beautiful, wise and adorable. The little Queen will soon have her cosy winter bed ready, fit for her regal dreams. Now I need to pull off the closet my Roller hat as it is very cold today! :-)

    As you are an erudite gentleman, you also bring a linguistic style along, nonetheless. You carry the most beautiful ethymology a word can have: that of "donkey" stemming from "pony" because of their small size. You can whisper this to Mini and Callie, you also have a donkey in you :-)

      My Dearest Carmen! I knew it! I too have echoes of the long eared delights that my mule friends are so proud of. FH often says that I am very donkey-like in my character, in fact she thinks I am often more donkeyish that pony. Apparently my unflappable and sweet ways remind FH of those long ears, if only my ears were a little longer perhaps I could pretend?

      I do hope your Roller hat did a good job of keeping you warm, we're hoping to see FH's matching one soon too, it is especially good for snuffling (and making muddy, hehe). The weather has turned nasty here so I am very glad of my wintery fluff - hooray :-)

    Darling Roller - speaking as one of your many adoring lady fans - you are stunning - you certainly have masses of style, elegance, charm, charisma and...lots and lots of gorgeous fluff!!! Oh, I wish that I could be there to have a jolly good snuggle! Can't wait for the up to date photos.

      Dear Judy, I am so glad that you appreciate my gorgeous fluff, while all the other equines tend to look muddy and less sleek in their winter finery I delight in mine and make the most of showing it off ;-)

    That is some serious fluff. The ponies on the moor look REALLY fluffy too. I'm sure they didn't look like this so early last year but then I guess it's nearly November. Take care on windy Monday all of you!

      FH is hoping that my extra fluffy self is not an indicator of a bad winter ahead... she seems to think we muleteers have much better accuracy predicting the weather than the MetOffice.... not that hard though is it?!
